Great discovery
"This was a last minute decision to go away for the night and we stumbled upon the Boat Inn while working through Hotels.com. Great place to stay, good pub grub, lovely clean and smart room, dog friendly and very peaceful. The staff were brilliant. And they have EV charging!"

"We were meeting friends to go to the Highland games and there were little lodging available at a reasonable price. I was a little concerned about the bothies based on earlier reviews but we all loved it. One friend was very tall and in a bothies with lower ceilings so they offered a different one ..."

13 May 2019A very pleasant little town with good walking and cycling nearby, plus the world famous gliding club 2 miles away. For the same price, we recommend staying at The Boat Inn. Also do a good breakfast, which you will need if you stay at the Huntly Arms
