"The only thing going for this place is its location; the value for money is average given the service provided (nobar, no spa, no breakfast...). I wouldn’t recommend it for a long weekend Staff were rarely available: check-in on Saturday from 5pm and reception closed from 7pm + closed on Sunday and Monday Accommodation was fairly functional but the toilets are on the ground floor and the bedrooms upstairs + only one of the two beds was made up + the front door was very difficult to open Cold swimming pool, changing rooms with wet and slippery floors; No steam room available as it had to be booked (no information provided). No breakfast available even when requested before 6 pm (arrived at 5 pm – very tight schedule, especially when you have to make the bed, but no flexibility at reception even though it wasn’t yet 6 pm!!!) had to carry our own laundry (very heavy bag) to the entrance of the rental pedestrian gate impossible to open (couldn’t report it as reception was closed)..."

"A very popular hotel for sure with spacious rooms, great Wifi, and a lovely pool, jacuzzi, sun lounger area. The reception and staff were excellent and this hotel deserves its high review rating. Plenty of secure parking which is a must for me. There is a restaurant on site for continental breakfast and main meals but we did not use so not able to rate. The location means transport is required but it should be mentioned there are excellent cycle paths adjacent to the road. "

"Lovely spotlessly clean room with large balcony. Food and service was superb . Excellent breakfast. . Our only disappointment was the small internal bar area which lacked atmosphere - and sometimes staff ! We will happily stay again on our next visit to the Vendee."

"We booked weeks in advance and arrived after a four hour drive to be told that we couldn't use car park because we did not reserve parking. Hotels.com gave no options to reserve and the listing details say nothing about reservation. There was no on road parking available. The manager kept saying it is clearly marked and I showed him it wasn't. Eventually the young lady on reception worked something out to park at the side of the hotel. That night and before we left two parking spaces remained available in the parking. So frustrating and needless stress. The room was very basic and looked nothing like the photos. Breakfast buffet was very basic and poor value for money. No gluten free or lactose free options despite messaging twice in advance. If I didn't bring my own food I would have had nothing yet still paid for breakfast!!! The coastline is beautiful but the town was lacklustre. It was not even that cheap! Go elsewhere. Paid much less for much better, overpriced and underperforming hotel. We would have left were it not for the really friendly and helpful young lady on reception. "

"Lovely, relaxing atmosphere with great pool area and beautiful sea views. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Dinner menu a bit limited esp. for younger children and on the ‘fancy’ end of the spectrum (and some dishes were rather style over substance). Can eat out or get takeaway pizza in the next village. "Good. Major drawback was unexpected cost of parking ( 10 euros per day ). Hotels.com should have forewarned us ( ie next to the « self parking « tick on advert. Also no fridge. But room just about big enough’. Bed comfortable."
