Looks just like in the pictures. Place is only 3 year old, very clean and safe. The staff was friendly. The beds are very comfortable. The included breakfast is good although we waited very long for anything we ordered that was not on the buffet. Definitely would come back to this place.

I'm big on cleanliness and this hotel offers it!!!

Most of the hotels I've used in Accra leave much to be desired. The Highbridge stands out as the cleanest and most comfortable. My first experience with them some years back was disappointing when they would not honor a hotels.com rate... as a result, I thought I would not go back. But when on a recent trip I was searching for a clean comfortable hotel to lay my head in Accra, I had to try Highbridge again and they did not disappoint in the area cleanliness, service and comfort.

Property is well kept...Security is excellent.... fairly new facility. I thought priced a little high for a lodge with NO other good points except the room and the staff... Restaurant is very poor; no pool; no garden, no place to relax outside....

A nice stay in East Legon

My visit to the Highbridge Guest Lodge was a great one overall. The positives: clean, friendly, safe, good-tasting food. The negatives: local area (difficult to walk around the neighbourhood and definitely not at night) and service (more on that below). The food is very good. The breakfast options in the morning are very good. The staff are excellent and polite, particularly the managers and dining staff. Additionally, the room itself was clean, bedding clean, the air conditioner effective and quiet, the hot water nice, and the lighting nice. Also, the Wifi was moderately fast. Finally, there were some finishing touches that were unique to the hotel, including the local soaps and shampoos. Nice overall. The service was top-notch except in three respects: (1) I was denied dinner one evening because I returned at 8pm but didn't tell the staff that I would be home for dinner ahead of time; this is understandable but the hours were specified to be 7pm-10pm; at the very least, there should have been snacks; (2) my toilet roll was missing from my room one day which was odd because it was there earlier that day -- not sure how it snuck out! (luckily I noticed it before I needed it!); and (3) you need to ask someone to boil water for you for tea/coffee. Despite these small drawbacks, I would highly recommend visitors to Accra stay at this location. There is probably not a better small hotel in the East Legon area for this price, and the staff are excellent.

Loverly hotel in East Legon

Great location in East Legon perfect for getting around the places we needed to be near. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Great place to be with the locals and you feel very safe. However if travelling back into Accra the traffic is hellish even if taxis are cheap and Uber cheaper. Get a pool. Breakfast is basic but ample.

Secured location away from noisy Location.

Best hotel worth for money. Loved the Room. Staff were excellent and friendly. Breakfast is not good at all. There need to be a lot of improvement in providing a continental breakfast. I like to have some Salads and fruits and Fruit juice in the hotel breakfast menu. Hopefully this is improved in my next stay. Overall very happy with this hotel comparing to many 4 star hotels. Will visit again. Thanks Emmanuel and the other staff.

A lovely stay

A lovely guest house, new, clean, we'll run and with a nice small restaurant in the eve selling local foods. The only downside is it's distance from the city which would be a problem if you don't have a car. Otherwise I would highly recommend this hotel and we had s quiet and comfortable time.

Great Boutique Hotel with Great Service!

The Highbridge Guest Lodge is a shining example of great customer service, with lovely, well appointed rooms with a boutique hotel charm. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure needs are met and exceeded. The room was excellent with marble floors that were cleaned daily, freshly cleaned bedsheets that were crisp and comfortable, the bathroom was well appointed. Also, air conditioning and windows gave you options for air circulation. The free breakfast was a great start to my day. The lunch and dinner menu was good as well. If you have a question the staff will get answers for you and help you plan what you want to do. The Highbridge is also located in an Accra neighborhood away from the busy downtown area but it's still close to all of Accra's amenities and attractions. If you want a small, quiet, private and secure place where the staff will know your name the Highbridge Guest Lodge is where you want to stay.

Less than one year old, very high ceilings

Room reasonably priced. Cheaper to book on line. Staff very friendly and efficient> Being from US and familiar with other accommodations I think this would rate this out 5
