"Beautiful hotel in a beautiful and picturesque location. Very friendly staff. Please note that the pool was not filled as we stayed late April/early May. The pool was to be filled for the summer season which takes place in mid May. Air-conditioning would also be available to come mid May. We could not regulate the temperature in our suite however, we were able to open up the windows and catch the breeze in the evening."

"The room was really clean and as described. Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant was closed and that was not mentioned on the site. I learned about it the day before my arrival. Fortunately, the host had good restaurant suggestions. The hotel advertise a pool and a jacuzzi, they have both but the pool was VERY cold (normal in April) and the jacuzzi was not inviting (bee nest, Luke warm, in the shade...). "We loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was clean & comfortable. The view was AMAZING. We had breakfast included daily which was very good and had a bunch of gluten free options. Our bodies were tired after the hustle & bustle of Florence & Rome so we booked into the “light spa” and had the hot pools to ourselves. It was a short walk to town. We wish we could have stayed longer and plan to be back. "
