"ROACHES IN THE HOTEL. Before encountering the LIVE ROACH in my shower, I would have written about how certain I am that someone was bribed to list this as a five star hotel. The bed was not a king, as described, and the towels were greying and ratty around the edges. Now, for better or worse, my encounter with a roach in the room takes center stage. This happened on the first day of our trip and we immediately left. However, the person at the front desk refused to refund us. In fact, he said that everyone with the authority to issue a refund will be on holiday for the next week. Hotels.com is currently working to secure us a refund given the circumstances of our departure."
