We didn't expect to enjoy Casablanca as much as we did as it doesn't feel as marketed to tourists as Marrakesh and Fez. However we found the people lovely and especially the walk through the Medina and around the main Mosque.

Downtown has great restaurants. Historical sites are also good. Not as good as ifraine or Fez. Drivers want to take you to destinations where they get commission not where you tell them to go. Irresponsible. Lied re Casablanca movie site being closed

We enjoyed the convenient tram station, at the Central Marche, to and from the train station. I loved the big pedestrian walk along the ocean behind the Marina Shopping mall. The walk took me all the way to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque.

Plenty of shopping and dining options but not much historical sites to see besides the mosque. Biggest positive about Casablanca is slot off locations take cards. Overall, the city can be done in a day trip.

It is a commercial capital not touristy as all. The streets were clean. Many intersections were manned by police officers and therefore were easy to cross
