"Das Hotel und vor allem die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen. Leider war vor allem das Bad in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Die Toilette selbst war sehr tief und der Sitz defekt. Die Dusche war an vielen Stellen schimmelig bzw. rostig. Jedes normale Hotel hätte solche Mängel selbstverständlich beseitigt, hier anscheinend nicht. Das Frühstück mit Blick auf den Golfplatz war das einzige Highlight. Essen und Service war gut."

"Room was so tiny my bed was aqueezed against three walls. The view was dreadful of a horrible back yard. It took a menber 20 minutes to makr my coffee maker work. The room was freezing but a staffer managed to turn on some heat. The hotel's location is great and so is the pub. The desk clerks were all wonderful"

"We got there early and understandably couldn’t check in early, but the man behind the desk didn’t help us with our bags and just watched as we struggled to get them into an unlocked room. Overall the staff was pretty unhelpful. No rooms have AC and our room was facing the ocean, which was beautiful, but when we got into our room it was HOT and no one bothered to open the window to let in fresh air. "I literally happened upon this property in a beautiful coastal suburb, Malahide, right outside of Dublin. I had never heard of Malahide, but a lovely Irish woman suggested I stay at the Grand Hotel for my last night in Dublin. It was a fantastic tip.
