Very nice hotel in central Addis. The rooms were very nice and the staff were very helpful. The bed was quite hard.

Enjoyable stay
The place is beautiful and the staff very polite. I'm happy at the way management responded to my queries. This is how it should be. I am also very grateful for the upgrade they gave on my booking. I recommend Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa!

If you are Ethiopian, I advise that you don’t stay at this hotel. It’s a great place to eat and go , but if you trying to book a room and stay , you will be treated horribly if you are Ethiopian that speaks Amharic. I was shocked because almost all the employees are local Ethiopians and you would think they will treat you well since you Ethiopian too. Wrong , you will only get treated well if you different national and talk to them in English. Me and my wife are from U.S.A and we went back home for a week vacation. We only stayed there for two night because of how we were treated by the staff just because we Ethiopians. Two different night my wife called front desk to order room service, she spoke with them in Amharic. Our orders were never transferred to the person in charge. After hours of waiting , I called the front myself and spoke to them in English and they rushed to get the orders in minutes. You will be treated as a trespasser trying to navigate the pool and other areas of the hotel. That is absolutely shame from a five star hotel , we paid the same money us the other people to stay there and we expect same treatment.These happened both night we stayed. That mad my wife mad and we decided to change hotel. My advice to your hotel is , your entire staff needs diversity training course.

Excelente Hotel, staff extremamente simpatico e atencioso, especialmente o Sr. Hammid (acho que era esse o nome). o quarto muito bonito, bem decorado, limpo e confortável, além de café da manhã bem completo e curto trajeto até o aeroporto.

Great hotel option in Addis. Since it is fairly new, it’s your nicest option. The only downside is the area around it is very busy with traffic. I would recommend booking a garden view room if you need quiet. All the food options are excellent, the pool and gym lovely, and the spa is the best in town! I’ve stayed at the Hilton, Sheraton, and Radisson Blu in Addis and the Hyatt is just as nice if not nicer! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing service, great property
Amazing service. I had a minor complaint about noise and staff jumped into action and offered to switch my room to a garden view. Staff was very helpful arranging cars at a reasonable rate. The facilities and restaurants were top rate, and this is coming from someone who prefers to not eat at hotels. My one minor gripe (and a lot of newer properties have the same issue) is the open bathroom. If you need to get up to use the bathroom or want to get going before your partner, using the bathroom is noisy and disruptive. I know the open design makes the room look bigger, but it's impractical.

Hotel eccellente sotto molti punti di vista. Posizione strategica (ben collegato all'aeroporto). Buon comfort. Ottimi servizi, fra cui la palestra e la piscina. Eccellente colazione. Camera spaziosa. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Presenza di ristorante e di un caffè/bar molto grazioso.
