"Beautiful setting, but disappointing service for a 4-star hotel. The hotel has a beautiful location, a stunning view over western Sicily and pleasant facilities. Unfortunately, the overall experience was far below what we expected from a 4-star property. We were told at reception that the tap water was not drinkable, but there was no clear warning in the bathroom or near the tap. When we asked for free drinking water, we were told the only options were paid bottles from the minibar or...

"Struttura molto bella con vista mozzafiato, bella la piscina e buon ristorante. Per la poca differenza ho chiesto upgrade da executive a suite, essere al piano superiore con terrazzino e vista vale sicuramente la differenza. Unica critica costruttiva in una suite ci si aspetta solo un pochino di attenzione in più per i dettagli,"

"The Hotel is a little out of town but the walk along the sea front is fine to get to restaurants. The reception staff and all others were very courteous and helpful. The room was spotless as were the majority of indoor areas. The pool could do with a bit of an update . It was clean though . The loungers weee not very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, wide range and well presented . The only thing to mark it down is the presence of the owner sitting all day long sprawled in the foyer area....

"Le Arcate is a very welcoming entity just off the beaten tracks. It provides space, attention when needed, a very nice outside yard including a large swimming pool. The service is excellent, the food delicious. The location ensures a quiet, peaceful experience."

"The facility was lovely and it's proximity to the Salt Museum ideal. However, I have never been in a hotel room where we could not regulate the temperature before. Apparently, there is a master control and we froze all night. Opening the window to warm up was not an option because of insects, so there was no way to regulate the temperature. Also, the 10 am check out is a bit premature given the isolation -- 11 would be better. The breakfast was excellent. "

"Nice staff and unique hotel however, got food poisoning at their restaurant and was on the brink of needing to go to the hospital. The beds are rock hard too, makes for a very uncomfortable sleep. "

"La nostra camera era l'unica che non affacciaava sulla piscina, ma questo di certo non é un problema, eravamo di passaggio ed abbiamo trascorso solo una notte. Devo però sottolineare che é una struttura discreta, ampi spazi verdi, una bella piscina e un parcheggio interno comodissimo e per questo motivo mi é spiaciuto vedere che la nostra camera é stata lasciata un po' a se stessa (ad esempio il filtro del lavandino era vecchio ed usurato causando una fuoriuscita dell'acqua di "difficile...

"Camera pulita, personale gentile Ottimo parcheggio raccomandato per chi va in moto Colazione abbondante. L’unica cosa che correggerei i prezzi delle bevande che non sono giustificati , un caffè preso in piedi al bar 2 euro, 1 bottiglia da 500ml 2 euro "

"Der Eigentümer spricht zwar kein Englisch, aber dank moderner Technik konnten wir uns gut verständigen. Er war sehr hilfsbereit und hat gute Tipps gegeben. Die Lage mitten im Dorf ist 1+ mit Sternchen. Das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse mit tollem Blick war lecker und umfangreich. Gerne wieder."
