"The staff are unbelievable and attentive. By far the most welcoming staff we encountered in two weeks of travelling through Western Norway. Breakfast has personal options and a great spread. We also had dinner at the restaurant and it was fabulous! Great value at the restaurant and hotel for the services provided. "Laerdal hotel is gem between Oslo and Bergen. The fjord views from my balcony were absolutely breathtaking. I enjoyed having a spacious room with a roomy bathroom. The location is very peaceful and everything we needed for our over night stay was in walking distance. The staff was were friendly and spoke English fluently. "Historic hotel with a beautiful view over the water. Large bedroom- with a sitting area. A kettle ! Nice bathroom with a good new shower. Decent toiletries. Enjoyed view at breakfast. Food very enjoyable and a wide selection. Arrived after a long journey but couldn't get dinner, even small plates in bar, which was a pity."
