Great location, very easy access to sights and restaurants/shops. There was a strike when we visited so no housekeeping which we weren’t told. Staff at reception and the restaurant/bar were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with a huge choice. The pool was closed which we weren’t told. Comfortable bed and nice smelling Rituals toiletries in the bathroom.

Great hotel with comfortable rooms & THE best buffet breakfast we have ever experienced-it was truly incredible. The opportunity to have a barista make a ‘proper’ coffee for you was a really nice touch, as were the ginger & lemon shots. Nice helpful staff, good size rooms. Great location.

Brilliant hotel, staff and location. Room was lovely although warm at night . Breakfast was outstanding especially for us who had allergies/ preferences. We loved the care and attention. Easy to get to from the airport and within walking distance of sights. Unfortunately there was a huge amount of noise every night and we were on the 9th floor. Lots of screaming, shouting and cheering till 4am most nights. Not from hotel or guests but surrounding area. We hardly slept on our last night as we also had an early start. Not sure if this is ongoing but it has impacted if we would return. Appreciate it’s in the centre but this was not trams or traffic noise.

Beautiful lobby, even better than the photos. Apparently was designed by Anemone. And lovely room fragrance. There’s everything you could wish for at the buffet breakfast and custom made omelette ready in 3 mins. I didn’t use the gym or swimming pool but good to have. The room was lovely. A bit hot but that got sorted. Enormous TV where I watched the nature programmes every day! Lovely shower, linen and comfy bed. The staff were friendly and professional. I loved the lobby bar and negroni cocktails. The room door was a puzzle to lock for me and the receptionist. However I worked it out by the second day. My tea bags and coffee brought from home got taken (in the trash probably) so it’s a good policy to keep things like that in the drawer.. they were replaced by similar so that was ok Great central location, everything seemed to be 10mins walk away! 5 mins walk from train station, 20 min fast train from airport. Very well planned locations Overall 10/10 and by far the most attractive and loviest smelling reception. Would definitely return - thanks x

I have been coming here for four years now the hotel is very nice the rooms are clean the beds are very comfortable. The amenities like the Sauna, steam room are both really nice after a long night of being at a festival in a mosh pit etc. The staff is really nice, very professional. It’s central to all kinds of cool places to go.

Do not stay here if you have children. Children are clearly not welcome and they make that clear. Although the rules say “no children in the pool after 7:00 pm” you should expect the staff to come down at least one or two times while you are in the pool to make you feel unwelcome. Though all the kids including ours were respectful the stated policy is “this is a gym and relax pool” clearly not intended for children. Also expect repeated glares from breakfast and lobby staff. They are more than happy to have loud drunks around but not children. If you are traveling with kids I highly recommend seeking different accommodations.

The hotel is right in the middle of the city center. It’s very convenient to go to many places from where the hotel is. Central Station is right across the street. The buffet was very nice and large filled with a whole bunch of different types of food. The gym was very nice, small pool sauna but a bunch of weight equipment and six treadmills three elliptical and a couple of other cardiovascular machines.We took a small room and we would not do that again. The small room is really SMALL. The hotel was really quiet.

Breakfast at a clarion hotel should be a bucket list experience! This is a lovely hotel. Quiet room with nice view of the city. Central location. Beds are very comfortable. Shower room was spotlessly clean. Staff are friendly. Oddly , we had a missing bedside table, thankyou to Nicolas for sorting the issue. Enjoyable meal at the restaurant on the 13th floor with great nigthtscape view. Spa was clean and a great addition to our stay. Second time i have stayed at a clarion and would not hesitate to stay again.

Great hotel in the heart of Oslo. Very clean with great service. Breakfast was amazing!! Definitely recommend staying here.

A nice hotel, fantastic location. Generally quite clean, but could do with a good hoover in public spaces and room. Staff are friendly and polite. Food in restaurants and breakfast excellent. Gym, pool and sauna quite good for a hotel.

We had booked and paid in full 6 months in advance and were told a few days prior our booking that the amenities (pool, sauna, steam room and parts of the gym) were closed for refurbishment. Not only the hotel did not answer our messages regarding a potential compensation or partial refund, they could only gave us a room upgrade when checking- in a reception. Although we appreciated the gesture, it was a small compensation considering we specifically booked the hotel for the amenities and were only told about the closure 3 days prior.... That being said, they have, by far, the best breakfast buffet I have ever seen and the staff was very friendly.

Location was great, hotel highlight was the breakfast each morning! Staff was friendly and location near Central station train was perfect for our stay. Room cleanliness could be improved, specific to dust on and surrounding light fixtures, switches near headboard.
