"TERRIBLE !! - The worst experience ever! The reception didn't allow me to check-in because I arrived at 23h05, which is outside 23h00 check-in time. The security guard told me there was no staff around. Not sure if that means they closed the reception much earlier and departed immediately at 23h00. I tried to reach the hostel by phone, but the phone number mentioned on the booking site is not correct or in use. At 00h31 the reception sent me an email mentioning that since I was not there by...

"I stayed for 6 nights in one of the single rooms w/view. This is definitely not an American chain hotel- and it is exactly what I wanted. The staff were great, my room was huge by most Paris standards and the view was as promised. There is a small elevator and AC - tho I had no need in late April. There are lots of places to eat and several grocery shops near. I’m definitely looking forward to my next stay. "

"I didn't expect much from a budget hostel, however there are still things where this hostel can improve. 1. Rooming system (I found my bed was already used by someone else, before I asked for another bed). 2. Maintenance (The luggage bin beneath my bed was broken, couldn't close firmly). 3. Cleanliness (The toilet needed a more periodic cleaning before it stank) 4. Signage (Some people may have difficulty to find the entrance door the first time).
