"We have been using this hotel on and off for nearly 30 years and can always rely on its consistency. the welcome is friendly and the Manager obviously cares as he was out litter picking when we arrived so I'd say over and above ! "

"The room was fresh and clean as well as tidy. The breakfast was good quality and value for money. The hotel is also located in the centre of Albert which is very convenient. The hotel proprietor was helpful and welcoming."

"The building is impressive, our room was large and clean. There were nice touches such as slippers, bath robes and toiletries. The lounge areas were deserted on the first day of our stay , giving the whole place the ambiance of a museum. The following day saw an influx of guests and the life of the place lifted considerably. There are cards and board games available but you needed to ask as nothing is offered. Breakfast was confusing, there was a standard and uninspiring continental breakfast...
