"We decided to stay at Burg Rabenstein for one evening in a trip around Germany, and it was well worth the stop. The castle and its grounds were beautiful. There is a local cave and falconry on-site; however, they were both closed for the winter (we visited in December). "Wir wurden von der Gastgeberin sehr herzlich begrüßt. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön und das Anwesen sehr gepflegt. Das Zimmer hat ab Mittag die Sonnenseite und dem entsprechend warm ist es dann auch, da haben die Rolläden vor den Fenstern nicht viel geholfen, leider gab es keine Klimaanlage oder wenigstens einen Ventilator. Das Bad ist sehr klein mit wenig Abstellplatz und die Beleuchtung ist auch sehr dunkel. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. "

"Our stay was very nice, with only 2 issues which we truly were not pleased with. Paid for parking, but they have an issue with non-payers getting into the parking garage. Therefore, no parking 2 evenings in a row. Going back & forth, checking if a space was available. This was very unfortunate. The garage has a card key entry, but another could come in right behind. The easiest way is to have someone come thru hotel lobby, push the garage level button, without needing a card entry. Then person can get downstairs and open the garage door from downstairs. Frustrating for sure. The other issue, much less frustrating, no coffee ability in the room. Staff members were very nice, except for one who chose to count his cash box instead of trying to help with our parking situation. "
