"I stayed here 50 years ago, and not much has changed, which pleased me and my family. The property was very well maintained, and the original charm still existed. As we knew , no AC was available, but we had 2 box fans and cool nights. I was most impressed by the little gift basket and hand signed card by the staff on my birthday."

"The Whistling Swan is a tried and true part of East Glacier- past, present, and hopefully long in the future. The owner/ manager is very helpful and flexible. We had a late arrival time and he was more than accommodating. He trusted us and asked to settle up the bill the following day. The trust and kindness was much appreciated. The room was clean and well stocked. There was AC, a refrigerator with freezer, and a tv. The beds are very soft, so keep that in mind."

"The lodge was really nice and clean. We were on the lower level and the upstairs kitchen/lounge area was really nice to get together with the rest of the family and friends that were there for a family wedding. Speaking of the wedding, which was on the property….it was gorgeous. It was the perfect setting for a wedding. The view was beautiful for pictures. I’d highly recommend this property."

"The hotel is in an amazing location ~ so close to Glacier National Park! We really enjoyed the peaceful setting. The rooms are a nice size, very tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, clean, etc. The included breakfast was great. The easy check in was appreciated. Will definitely stay again when in the area."

"Great location and nice size of cabin for one adult and two teens. Parking was a bit confusing. Didn't have some supplies like dish soap or backup toilet paper. Overall it was a great four night basecamp for exploring Glacier."
