"Our goal was to see wildlife, particularly birds at Macaw, we were not disappointed. "

"I had the worst hotel experience of my life here! The shower had a cheap plastic shower head that was broken when my daughter first tried to take a shower. The shower head disconnected from its base and couldn’t be used. We reported the issue and a staff member worked on it and said it was fixed. Then my son tried to take a shower and the shower head disconnected from its base even more. It had been 2 days without a functioning shower at this point. I told the staff as we left that we would...

"the cleaning staff cleaned my room every time i asked them and provide clean sheets ."

"Stay ok. This hotel shows as a front picture, a picture with swimming pool that it is not even the one we can use. The one showing is in construction."

"Hubo un pequeño problema con el jacuzzi , pero el personal muy atento me cambió de habitación en cuanto lo reporte y me dieron un bono de $30 consumibles en el restaurante, por mi parte quedó muy satisfecho con la solución"

"El lugar es muy bonito y limpio. La piscina muy rica!"

"This place was nice for the price you pay! A trek from the Airport , about $250 spent on round trip and an hour and a half each way . The space was nice .. room looks exactly like the pictures. The second night tho the lights , which include the AC went out for about 3-4 hours .. it was so hot ! Eventually it came back on but just a little annoying trying to sleep in that . Aside from those things , the space itself was definitely worth what you pay for and Uber was readily available and was how...

"No nos gustó la habitación. Algo menos que aceptable. El frigorífico no funcionaba, las ventanas no tenían mosquiteras, No era un sitio cómodo y agradable para estar. Pero la parte común, nos gustó mucho. Piscina e instalaciones limpias, bien cuidado y un buen servicio."

"The private room was very clean and just big enough to stretch out. The air conditioning was very strong. Nikki, the receptionist on duty during our stay, was a wonderful help to us and devoted some of her own time helping us plan our time in Jaco. The pool is lovely, and the hostel owners make a wonderful Gallo Pinto for breakfast every morning."

"I’ll be back next time I come to town"

"Great!"

"Room was clean and we loved the balcony. Great for watching the sunset. Beds were a little hard for my liking but we were exhausted after running all day so we still slept fine lol. A/C was great after being out in the heat. The hotel is beach front and a short walk to the main street for shopping. Gustavo was so awesome. He gave us food recommendations and helped set up our massages. He was ready for whatever request we threw at him. Awesome! The included breakfast next door at Kokos was...
