The view was the best part, rooms were amazing and a lot of space. Pool was great aswell, not too far away from town and yeah….i’d recommend booking this place for a nice vacation.

Great stay!
These apartments are great! They are up a large hill and quite a distance from the town so we were glad we had a car! The views were fabulous. Good standard of accommodation and very spacious with excellent facilities.

Pros: Large apartment with amazing views. Very clean bedding & towels. Comfortable bed. Cons: Ideally need a car for this accommodation(very steep hill to approach). Cleaning needs to be more thorough ie bathrooms around taps, shower screens and floors (sorry we are particular, photos available)

The view was incredible! The staff were so accommodating and we would love to come back again. Our room was getting a bit tired so I hope there is a reno coming but I’d still stay again next week!

The views are incredible! Apartments are spacious and very clean and well maintained. If you have heavy luggage it is difficult as there is no lift. We found the hot water to be only luke warm in the shower. We had a great stay.

Hi Craig, Many thanks for your review, we do have a building with a lift and if required we can ensure a booking is placed in that building. Where we stayed & the appartments was great, but if this can get relayed to the local council, it was disappointing in the amount of rubbish that was washed up on Airlie beaches, it seems that they don't get cleaned by the councils as i didn't see any in the mornings. It's a shame as this area prides on the Reef & beaches.

To make the most of the amazing views of the water from our Apartments, we are located high on the hill for this very reason.. We hope you enjoyed your stay and come back again.

Unfortunate Day for Us
Me and my mum arrived Sea Star Apartment at 9pm to check in and were told by staff that there was actually no room available and he was surprised too that we were able to book one..!!? He also wasn't aware of our booking, went to check his computer in the office to realise it. He said luckily there was one room checked out early that night so he just needed to clean the room for us. It took him an hour then we finally got the room at 10pm (poor mum!). Didn't wanna make a big deal about it because it was already late night and we had a cruise trip next day morning at 7am (other hotels around there were fully booked too). The only good thing was the room was pretty big for just the two of us.

Please understand that because your booking was completed through a 3rd party there was an error in system which allowed that booking to be made. This is why we were unaware of your booking being made as was after office hours. We did the best to accommodated you with having the room cleaned late at night to able you to stay. This was an error beyond our control.

I booked a 2 bedroom apartment but only received a 1 bedroom.. The way they handled their mistake was very disappointing and I will never stay there again. The whole place was tidy but very dated.

Hi Melissa, We are very sorry we did not reach your expectations. After the confusion of your arrival at midnight of the first day your room was unlocked to a 2 bedroom. Anything you needed in the room, it was there. Everything in the apartment was 10/10 couldn’t of been happier. Yes it’s older, but kept well and you need is in your room. Very clean and couldn’t complain about anything. The view is something else.

The quiet and well-maintained apartment had a fabulous view out over the water and a sunny balcony running the length of the living room and main bedroom. With a very spacious living area, separate dining and a very well-equipped kitchen, this property will be my pick next time I visit Airlie Beach

Amazing views and great place to stay!!!
What an excellent place to stay whilst in Airlie Beach! The views are amazing, the apartments very clean and tidy with modern TVs and white goods. Great value for money with Steve the owner/ manager very helpful and always eager to assist. Great stay, highly recommended, we will be back!

Great value with stnning views.
Out very first trip to Airlie and we loved it! Sea Star appartments was amazing, stunning views that made our trip so much worth it. The kids loved the feathered visitors at bfast that kept them entertained for a couple of minutes every day. Although the main tv unit did not work it was great getting the kids off the electronics to read a book with the amazing view.

Disappointing unfortunately
service was not up to scratch, room is very dated. Very spacious, great location excellent view. But the place is a little run down and service was less than standard. Office not open weekends after 12, but we were not told. Massive hill to traverse (I can accept this considering the views) service was minimal and inconsistent.

Hi Shane, we are disappointed to read your review. Office hours are stated in the confirmation email you received upon booking along with posted outside the office. We are on site and always available by phone 24/7. We were here Sunday morning when you came into the office to which we provided you extra soaps free of charge, although stated we only provide a complimentary starter pack. Additionally, we provided you some basic cooking supplies upon request as this is not usually provided. We even assisted you with different tour booking options and provided maps with different walking routes. We provide self-contained apartment units, not daily serviced hotel rooms.

great stay with a wow view
It was a great stay. The apartment is spacious and has all amenities and has a coffee machine and a washing machine and a dryer. View is amazing from the room. We had an issue with the washing machine and the managers fixed it the next morning.

Thanks Ibrahim, thanks for your feedback and please you enjoyed your stay. Our owners currently voted to cancel our Foxtel contract as it was unreliable and expensive . We do however have all the free to air channels and you can access your own accounts eg Netflix, Kayo, Foxtel go etc. Our spa switch failed just prior to Christmas and we are awaiting delivery of spare parts. With Covid and Christmas nothing is readily available, very sorry.
