This property was unique and highly thought out. There is a massage chair in the room!!! There are electrical plug in towers on every surface- no struggle to find a plug! The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was quick to respond. The hot tub and pool were crystal clean. We will definitely stay here again!

Had everything we needed for a short stay and was close to Organ Pipe National Monument. Rooms were large and had a big screen TV, WIFI, microwave, coffee maker and a large refrigerator.

GREAT Experience!!

If you are lucky enough to get a room here -- you will find out why it's always booked solid. Absolutely top end property -- great staff, excellent accommodations, personal service, and very, very clean and safe. When you are in a place as remote as Ajo you never know what you're going to get -- I can't imagine every staying anywhere else (if I can help it)!!

What an amazing cabin in the middle of the desert! Eclectic, quirky decoration, comfortable bed, and an abundance of table and chairs, both porches and inside. Refrigerator and microwave - both necessities in a small town with few restaurants. The pool and hot tub were closed due to weather, but enjoyed the massage chair in our cabin. What a delightful experience.

Good Stay

This is the second time I stayed at this motel, the first time was with different management. This trip the staff person was great, very helpful, showed me to my room, showed me how everything worked and made sure I was comfortable with how it all worked. my only problem was the room decour. If your looking for a room in Ajo I would not hesitate to stay here if you don't mind modern bright decour. I would stay here again.

Great last minute find...

Very clean, well cared for property. We checked in after hours and the owner just lovely. He bent over backwards to make us comfortable.

Booked room at last minute due to power outage in town i got an incredible cabin it was beautiful and very inviting zach the manager went out of his way to make sure everything was working i will definitely comeback the best place ive stayed since i arrived in arizona

The upgrade is awesome, very nice, clean, well kept inside and out. Quiet setting is what i appreciated no loud neighbors, we stayed in one of the cabins there was nothing we needed everything was already in place for our stay at the La Siesta Motel. I definitely recomend everyone to stay here. I would definitely return . Thank You La Siesta.

We arrived at night, and there were so many decorative lights and extra bling, I thought we had the wrong place at first. I started thinking we might need to find a different spot. The host and owner, Zach, is so charming, he put us at ease immediately. He personally accompanied us to our casita (dolled-up park model). The place was decorated over the top and very funny. You have to experience this place. Words are inadequate. You could bring in groceries and stay for weeks- there's even your own grill to use. We're coming back!

Hidden Gem

We stayed here to be close to the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. There were not a lot choices but this one had good reviews and I went for it. And I am so glad I did! It was fun, quirky, comfortable, affordable, friendly, you name it! This is an old moter court that has been revamped and additional cabins and RV pads added. We were in one of the new cabins. It had everything we needed. Including a massage chair! That was a big surpirse but I used the heck out of it. The owner had not overlooked one thing to make this cabin comfortable. There are even two bathrooms - one with a vanity and shower, the other with a sink and toilet. There is no restaurant or coffee in the lobby but coffee maker in the room. We went down the road to the local convience store and got a homemade breakfast burrito and hot coffee,. A front and back porch, big screen TV, plenty of outlets to plug in all your electronics. Visited with the neighbors before heading out. Awesome place that was almost completely full the night we were there. Definately recommend and will go back!

There is a wonderful pool but unfounately it was locked on the lovely afternoon we were free to use it (or the hot tub despite a notice saying be courteous and limit your time in it) because of the number of guests!!!

Owner operated old-school motel property with nostalgic charm and super friendly staff. Large screen cable tv, very clean, and very accommodating to be in such a remote area. Beautiful area. If ever back in Ajo, will stay again!
