Just up the hill from the city center of Akureyri, it was a five minute walk to many shops, bars, historical/art interest points, and restaurants. On-street parking was easy to find, free, and safe. "Un peu à l'écart de Myvatn, en pleine nature, on s'est de suite sentis bien au milieu de ce cocon de verdure au calme. Le bungalow est très bien équipé et confortable. Le petit déjeuner est excellent ainsi que le dîner que nous avons vraiment apprécié avec des produits frais de la ferme. Le personnel est sympathique. Un excellent choix !"

"Séjour très agréable avec un hôte très sympathique. Petit bémol, nous avions réservé une chambre pour 3, 2 adultes et notre fils de 13 ans, mais il n'y avait qu'un lit. L'hôte nous a rajouté un matelas au sol, il pensait que c'était un bébé...Salle de bain et wc partagés donc il faut s'organiser mais c'est gerable. Une cuisine commune permet de se faire à manger et permet surtout de rencontrer d'autres voyageurs, ce qui est sympa."

So beautifully decorated and warm and homey. The breakfast was perfect. HOMEMADE BREAD! and so many other choices. A perfect Icelandic breakfast. We are so happy we stayed there two nights. By far this was the best place we stayed at in Iceland!"

"It was amazing! If you love the solitude that‘s the place to stay. We had a clear night without any wind and the sky was full of northern lights. And the best part, no other people around (well, except the hosts, horses, chicken and ducks from the lake in front of our little cottage). Only 20 min away from Godafoss, or 25 min away from Húsavík. Definitely recommend this one! The host was very nice and welcomed us warmly. "
