These desert areas near Abu Dhabi are not a formal #NationalPark; however, I reckon they are close to it! #Trivia - my daughter told me that the almost horizontal line looks like I have stuck two pictures together. In reality the line is sharp drop off ridge in the desert dunes. Hair raising desert #Roadtrip! #iPhoneonly
Another #throwbackphoto from last September. I had just been in one of these 4 wheel drive vehicles over the dunes (it was hair raising for me) and was watching the Abu Dhabi sunset when this vehicle came rolling over the hill. If you are ever in the UAE, experiencing the desert is great. There are many tour operators to choose from and I did survive! #goldenhour

Amazing hotel. The pool is the best pool ive been to so far. Great for children but also adults. Staff are friendly and very unqiue layout. Not ultra luxury - more refined.

Bitte nicht in die Falle der Standardzimmer tappen. Erst durch ein Update wurde unser Aufenthalt erträglich. Essen für 5 Sterne weit unterdurchschnittlich. Viel Convenience. Die umliegende Natur atemberaubend , auch die Tierwelt nahe dem Zelt.

Great staff and stayed in a big 2 bedroom apartment (room 101) which was very clean and well kept. A little far out from the centre of Abu Dhabi but when you have a rental car and the petrol being so cheap, it's no problem.
