"Was in the woods - which we like, but not far from Talkeetna. There are a couple short trails that lead to a creek on property - saw lots of birds there. Cabin overlooked woods - nice & cozy. Loved cabin 8!"

"Very nice property but I do wish there was something for breakfast or dinner that didnt cost extra as there is already a premium on booking. Luckily theres plenty to get across the street or you can pay. The patio between a and b building is very nice. Staff was a mix between helpful and borderline rude at times. Rooms were very clean. Overall I would stay again but I do believe it could've been a little better for the price."

Had a little glitch at check in but it all worked out. Not a fan of them delivering luggage because it took several hours for ours to arrive & also had to have it ready 3 hours before departure....both of which were inconvenient."

"We spent 2 different nights at the Mt McKinney lodge. Our 1st stay, we had ordered a handicapped room, they put us in a room on the 2nd floor, no elevator, 2 parking lots and 2 buildings away from our build and of course the room wasn't handicapped friendly, then it took over an hour to get the same kind of room on the 1st floor in the same building. On our 2nd stay the room and location were great, except when we got to our room it was all ready occupied by a lady who had just USED the...

"The Owner was amazing. He picked us up from the train station, took us around the town to show us the locations that were open. He was accommodating to our requests and their son played in the snow with our son. This was a 5/5 experience. Would recommend to anyone. "

"Great communication with the owner but poor communication on Expedia's part. I spoke with the owner and it seems they have been having issues with Expedia. I didn't receive my room code after completing the online pre registration process but after calling the owner of the property he was able to solve the issue after I sent proof of the registration agreement. The room was fantastic. Very clean, spacious and had everything you needed for a few night stay. Would recommend and go back."
