Our stay was okay overall, but there was a frustrating maintenance issue that was never resolved, and I hope the management will consider some form of compensation.
When we entered the room, we noticed the desk lamp was not working. This was a significant problem because the room did not have a main ceiling light, so the lighting relied mostly on the lamps. We reported the issue to the front desk right away, and the staff said they would fix it. Unfortunately, nothing was done.
During our stay, we went back to the front desk several times to remind them, but the lamp was still never repaired or replaced—even by the time we checked out.
Because there was no main light in the room, the broken desk lamp caused a lot of inconvenience, especially at night. When others were sleeping, we couldn’t turn on the bedside lamps without disturbing them, so we had to move around the room in the dark. At one point I almost fell while trying to find my way around.
It was disappointing that such a simple issue was not addressed despite multiple requests. I hope the hotel management can look into this and consider providing some compensation for the inconvenience caused.
