"The room was quaint and very comfortable. Very clean and quiet. The staff were exceptional and they were very guest focused."

"This property was a pleasant surprise and well worth the stay. Great staff, very clean and good food.."

"Beautiful hotel in the heart of Comporta. The design is understated and relaxed, with a warm, sophisticated atmosphere that feels very true to the area. Great location, lovely service, and an easy place to slow down and enjoy Comporta. Would definitely return."

"This hotel is a gem. The rooms are huge! Beds are comfy! They have an onsite infinity pool that provides a great view of the city with wonderful places to sit all over. There is a lovely sauna that is perfect after a day of walking around the historic city. All of the must sees are within a 2-10 minute walk. Close enough to all of the attractions but far enough from the university which gets hopping when the sun goes down. The breakfast was very good. My only regret - staying only one night."

"Wonderful stay at Independente. I had the pleasant surprise of getting upgraded to a bigger and very lovely villa. Both the design and the nature surrounding the property are wonderful. The amenities, pools and breakfast were amazing. Overall a perfect stay, very relaxing."

"We were only there one night. A very unique and inviting place. I enjoyed the pool and the pool area. The breakfast was included and delicious with a great variety of fresh food."

"Hotel magnifique, staff très cordial, petit déjeuner et restaurant sublime !"
