Overall was an average older hotel. Was a good night rest and shower in between the NASCAR races. Breakfast we skipped as area was small and offerings were slim.

This room was absolutely nasty. I had to wipe every surface with soapy water before setting anything down. Stains all over the floor, everything covered in a thick layer of dust. Cobwebs and dirt in the window. The check in attendant didn’t activate our cards so when my husband went back because we couldn’t get in she gave him an attitude!

Outside nicely kept. Housekeeping was horrible. Was there 4 days with no housekeeping done. Had to ask for toilet paper trash bags and to have my linens changed and beds made. Manager was accommodating when I asked but I was told that housekeeping cleaned my room according to log. This certainly was not the case. Also had an outdoor pool that we weren’t allowed to use. No reason given

The explanation of the log is a bit convoluted, but the short of it is that check out rooms are prioritized and if they see a DND sign they are instructed not to enter. Housekeeping staff is only available 9AM-3PM.The outdoor pool is closed until May due to a set schedule we follow.

Our room was ready early which was great! The room was clean! The only issue we had was there were only 2 towels and bath cloths. I went down to the front office and they gave me more!

My room smelled like dried water and they didn’t want to give me another room it took them a hour to give me another room …then that room still stink I had a 3 month old with this was just the worst experience I was tired I just wanted another room that didn’t stink and it took a hour just to get that ….then it’s big roaches all in the dinning area ..

Room was outdated and dirty w 2 dead bugs in bathroom. Did NOT have an elevator for my elderly mother so we settled for a main level room. As soon as I walked in there was strong stench of nicotine in a non-smoking room. Immediately went back to front desk for a refund. Clerk was not friendly nor accommodating. I want my refund!

Not a "Full" Breakfast
Breakfast was advertised as "full". The choice of instant oatmeal versus instant grits is not a "full" breakfast. Coffee was from an instant machine and tasted like mud. Vent fan in the bathroom was dead and the room AC unit did not bring in any fresh air when on the fan setting.
