The hotel, it's staff and their service were all excellent. Hotel needs a few updates but they appeared to be addressing that part as elevator upgrades were in progress. No complaints. I'd recommend to anyone staying in Alexandria.

The customer service was great! Especially Brandy and Steven who I dealt with. However, the rooms are not worth booking here. Smelly carpet!!! I switched rooms in the middle of the night because it was so awful and I couldn't sleep. The second room was tolerable but you could smell musty. I was so tired and didnt know where else to go in a small town so stayed. But, I couldn't wait to leave the next morning!!! The customer service does not match the rooms! I can deal with outdated rooms, but at least be clean. The property should invest in throwing out the carpet and the reviews will turn around. Its Holiday Inn you would expect better. But this most be a franchise and they dont care and just want your money. I recommend no one come here until they update their rooms.
