Beautiful property next to some wonderful point of interests. However, the drainage in the shower of my first room didn’t work and it flooded the bedroom. The water pressure in the second room was unsatisfactory, but I was too tired to complain about it. Nevertheless, the airport shuttle was extremely convenient and the gym/pool area was impressive.

We liked the pool, but the room was definitely not 5 star, the floor in the room was very uneven, the door would not close properly. The porter was very friendly, but reception staff were not so friendly. Bees feast was very average, and all very expensive, did not meet expectations.

Safe stay.

The wifi in the room is very very bad. In main area is perfect. Was very surprised to have such weak signal in such 5 * hotel. Complained many times but nothing is done. Was served burger in the restaurant with very old and hard bun. The restaurant manager was very professional and tried to fix the issue by offering fruit and sweet. Thanks to him for that.

Definitely not a 5 star hotel

The hotel was nice overall, however not luxury 5 star hotel. Very old and more like a 3.5 or 4 star experience. Although the staff were lovely, the hotel was very basic and like and Ibis but with a bigger room. Beds not that comfy, sheets not that amazing, etc. It was dusty, lift button didn’t work, and very much not worth the very high price. I would rather pay less and pay somewhere that’s actually 4 star. Part of the hotel advertising is you get access to Hamma for free. However they told us no at the time, and unsure till when (due to the new year) even though we asked on the 14th Jan. The most baffling thing was that you’re not allowed outside food into your room!

Excellent hotel with incredible support team

Great amenities, clean, excellent location near metro, and wonderful people! One person who very much stood out is Hassina (who works in the business lounge). She truly elevated our experience because of her professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness. She always made sure that we (and actually all the guests) felt comfortable and received everything we needed. She helped answer all of my family’s questions and, despite our multiple requests, she never made us feel like an imposition. She also managed a beautiful and tasteful buffet in a space that was impeccably clean. We always looked forward to seeing her for breakfast or happy hour.

Expensive rate for an old hotel, needs renovation and a lot of work, they buy euros from you but they don't do the opposite 😂 Food from room service is not that good if you order something from outside you're not allowed to eat it you have to eat it outside the hotel even at 12:00 midnight😂 The hotel is very old more than 30 years and it's not up to date

Furniture in the room is very outdated and needs to be replaced. The carpet in the room is not a plus for people who have allergies. In our opinion it is not worth the 5 stars it gets.

I have had the worst experience I my two nights at Sofitel hotel, and to top that up the are still holding my money. I have called them several times to resolve this and all I got I pass you on to my colleague and they cut the line. I am ver disappointed at the over all service. If you are look to stay in a hotel don’t stay here my advice.
