What a charming, and perfectly located hotel. Shower was good and powerful. Room was sizeable and airy with good bed comfort. In the heart of the old town which is so charming. Would definitely recommend

This was an exceptional hotel. There isn't one thing I can say negative about it. Really high end. Looked and smelt great. Food and facilities were fabulous.

The room was clean and had everything we needed with fridge, aircon, great shower, and comfy bed. The outdoor areas are outstanding. We stayed in the Aloe Vera room with a private patio via a spiral staircase from the bedroom. The view was beautiful day and night with shade and sun. The pool and gardens were a haven and so peaceful. The plants, flowers and design were just fabulous with a number of private seated areas. Really lovely place by the beach. Warm welcome from the lady who does the housekeeping. Lovely terrace, spacious clean room, with a lovely partial sea view. Good air con. Really handy to have a fridge in the room too! Could maybe do with some conditioner / shampoo, and is a little noisy from the road.

I would recommend this quaint little place to anyone. The breakfast was fabulous.

My fiance and I have just returned from spending 3 nights at La Serena. From the moment we arrived we were treated like we were the only guests in the hotel & we were made feel so special. Check in was done very efficiently by a tall gentleman, while we were taken onto the sun terrace by a lovely lady and both of us given a glass of cava. My family and I travel a lot and mostly to 5 star hotels . this hotel had so many positive despite us visiting out of season April 15-22 2016 . they staff were very friendly and helpful and seemed to understand our English but not perfect in Translation but what they failed in translation they made up in effort . The facilities i.e. pool stunning and beautiful views of the sea and well managed gardens . they have 3 out door pools to chose from and the bottom pool was perfect for my 2& 9 year...

Superb management and staff a really excellent team nothing is to much trouble all should be very proud of what they have achieved. Alex the manager is nothing short of outstanding. Excellent position close to everything. Highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed one night while visiting the Altea and Calp area. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. After checking in on the Wednesday afternoon We were able to enjoy a swim in the pool and a couple of hours sunbathing. That evening we dined at the amazing Oustau restaurant in the old town. We checked out of the hotel after breakfast the following morning having thoroughly enjoyed our short visit.

Couldn’t recommend this apartment more. It’s in an incredible area of an amazing town. The apartment itself is beautiful and has every added touch you could want Communication was outstanding

What a fabulous little gem and the lovely owner Luna is great, she has made The Moona such a lovely place to stay and in the most fabulous location for everything you need, swimsuit on and in 30 seconds you’re in the sea, fantastic and Thankyou Luna
