Gaido's Seaside Inn

"We decided to take a last-minute trip to the beach before our girls started their senior year. The hotel was a retro-cute vibe, the beds were super comfortable, the air conditioner worked great, and the staff was friendly. We loved the ladies in the breakfast area and enjoyed a hot breakfast. One of these has been working there since 1969 - we loved her!! We were expecting more of a continental breakfast, so it was a nice surprise to have eggs, sausage and biscuit with gravy. The only complaint we had was the lady staying in 161 smoked non-stop. She was right in front of the entrance to the pool. We had to pass her on the way to the ice machine and any time we walked down the hallway to head to the beach. I wish they would make the hallway nonsmoking. Again, it was just one woman but she literally lit one cigarette after another. The pool was nice. The location was great. We would definitely stay there again."

"Location was perfect for our one night stay. Walkable to Jones Hall and very convenient to food locations. We ate at table 7 bistro convenient and it was good. Room was clean and sufficient, carpets are aged and need updating but that aside everything else was fine."

"By far the best property to stay at in the area for the money. Beds are super comfortable, the hotel is clean and very inviting. Only downfall is you have to pay for self parking, but considering what you make up for inside the hotel, it makes it worth it."
