The hotel has recently upgraded, and the check-in experience was much easier this time with lots of new easy to push carts. The rooms are large with very comfortable beds. However, they need some decent blankets. They only have thin covers. When I asked for some blankets, they brought me more thin covers. We enjoy the hotel and have been here several occasions, this time was for all the Christmas events at Moody Gardens. Don’t confuse this review with the Holiday Gardens because it needs improvement. They do not have enough staff on hand to help with ticket sales, membership, and other information. I realize this is a common problem in the service industry today, but knowing this, they could streamline processes for entries.I felt like they were running on the bare minimum. Also, even though you’re staying at the hotel, they do not offer discount a to the events, only if you buy their membership.The events are all separately priced and very expensive unless you buy a large package. The large package for Moody gardens does not include the special Christmas events. That’s a separate package. But they’re definitely not discounted.
