"This location was ideal. My window looked directly at the church so it was great for people watching. Very busy area. I forgot breakfast was included and had a bus to catch, so the host offered to send me with a to go cappuccino and croissant for the road. She was so sweet. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. Many dining and shopping options nearby. About a 5 minute walk to the port so you won’t have to haul heavy luggage very far if you’re coming in on a bus or ferry. "

"This place is incredible! An amazing cliffside setting with direct access to the emerald water of the Mediterranean. However, because of its setting, there are a lot of stairs (not for those who are out of shape). There are 165 steps down to the accommodation from the main road (staff helped with luggage) and another 300 steps down to the water. "This place was a safe haven for the bustling streets of Amalfi town. We didn’t realize how packed it would be in Amalfi, but the hotel was excellent. Modern room, cold A/C, complete with a rooftop mini pool to overlook the streets and other rooftops. "
