"This place is incredible! An amazing cliffside setting with direct access to the emerald water of the Mediterranean. However, because of its setting, there are a lot of stairs (not for those who are out of shape). There are 165 steps down to the accommodation from the main road (staff helped with luggage) and another 300 steps down to the water. "Exceptional property, luxurious rooms and professional, gracious service. My daughter got sick on a holiday weekend and the staff managed to find a physician to come to the room to treat her. They went out of their way to make the stay comfortable and special for us. The room was well appointed and always cleaned or turned down in an inviting way. They have a firepit and rocking chairs out in the cloister area - which was very charming and decorated for the festive holiday season."

"We absolutely loved our stay here! The service was amazing, the staff were so sweet and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make everything easy for us. They even held our luggage after we checked out, which was so thoughtful! The breakfast that’s included was incredible (honestly one of the best we’ve had!) and the patio is just beautiful, the perfect place to enjoy a slow morning in Amalfi. "It’s almost impossible to pass on the full experience of this place. WAY above the hustle of Amalfi is a tiny paradise where the tourists almost never go. Go. As others have said, Gino is incomparable. Even without such friendly service and luggage lugging etc, our stay was well worth it. The service just made the experience wonderful. Amalfi is super touristy but we knew that. We wouldn’t change what we did for the world, though. We rented a scooter and drove all over the place one day....
