We stayed here for six nights over Christmas, and loved it. A cool, calm retreat from the sometimes chaotic street life of Leticia, family run but to professional standards. Simple but very comfortable, well-planned rooms. Get a bungalow if you can, they give you more space to spread out, with a separate sitting/hammock room and a little porch to sit out on. Excellent breakfasts in sheltered internal garden area. We took three excursions organised by the hotel, no more than 6-8...

arrived around 2pm - main entrance very unwelcoming and tacky (if I hadn’t had a reservation I wouldn’t have stayed! it was so unwelcoming), quick friendly check in but I always ask for top floor away from lift - and there isn’t one so I had to traipse up eight flights of stairs. large room, spotlessly clean, hot on arrival but exceptionally efficient A/C lowered temperature very quickly. safe & Fridge worked well. gr8 recently modernised pool, bar and restaurant super. 5 minutes walk to Puerto...

It isn't called a floating hotel for nothing! Thought it would be moored to the land and sticking out into the river but it was actually floating in the middle of the Amazon. A five minute boat ride and you are in a wonderful, relaxed world - lying in a hammock and watching the river flow by. Absolutely lovely couple took care of us. Delicious meals. Unbeatable ambiance. Loved it so much we stayed there again on our way back from Puerto Narino. Felt like coming home.
