"From the warm welcome by the hostess Caroline to the “Avoir” four days later all was so lovely. Our room was recently renovated, comfortable and so clean. Beautiful gardens - quiet and private. "This is a super charming small hotel (10 rooms) in a quiet area of Amboise yet still just a few blocks from the Palace and other great sites. The staff is OUTSTANDING. Jean Jacques the owner greeted us at check in with an employee named Angel. He recently purchased the hotel and Angel joined his team this week. "The owners, Gaelle and Bruno, are grand hosts and are charming. This visit was our second, and if we return to Amboise, we will stay there again. The rooms in the manor house are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast is a must. Our hosts provided recommendations for dinner that were not tourist oriented, and helped us schedule a taxi to the railway station."
