Wonderful place to stay in Amboise, the accommodations were perfect and the hosts were attentive, but more, they really go out of their way to make the guests feel at home. Highly recommended!

What a charming place! My family and I loved our stay here. The property is very well maintained and our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. It’s only 10 mins walk to Chateau du Clos Lucé. We highly recommend this place and would happily stay here again.

This is an amazing place! Very peaceful and serene. Quiet rooms. Comfy beds. Lovely outdoor seating. Easy walk to town. The owners are so personable and helpful. Fun and easy to meet the other guests. Breakfast was served in a bright and sunny room with lots of selection variety. The rooms are large. I would highly recommend - and would love to return for a much longer stay!

I cannot recommend this manor enough! Aude and Rob are wonderful, kind, welcoming hosts. The property is a meticulously maintained 17th century royal estate, with horses and llamas and owls and giant sequoia trees and beaucoup French country charm! Every morning we were greeted with fresh bread from an award winning bakery, an assortment of homemade jams, hot coffee, orange juice, perfectly ripe fruit and a variety of French cheeses. Chateau de Royal, Clos Luce and the center of historic Amboise are within walking distance. If you are planning a trip to Amboise, you MUST stay here. If you are not planning a trip to Amboise, go ahead and plan one now.

This manor stay was one of the highlights of our France trip. Such a magical, beautiful, pastoral setting! Our suite was gorgeous with grand window views of fieldd with horses and llamas. Walking distance from main restaurant area downtown. Our hosts were the absolute best. So kind and accommodating! We can hardly wait to return. Highly recommend! Thanks for a wonderful experience. :)

What a treat it was, staying in this beautiful place, from the bountiful continental breakfasts (complete with friendly cat) to the blooming hydrangeas! Our bedroom and bathroom were well-appointed and comfortable (a standing fan was very welcome in the heatwave), and Aude and Rob were the most welcoming of hosts. We hope we can come back one day, and in the meantime we're recommending Le Manoir de la Maison to all our friends in France.

What a sweet little gem in the Loire Valley. From the time you enter the serene driveway to the beautiful home you are made to feel welcome. Our room was grand and Aude & Rob made you feel right at home. Breakfast was served in a magnificent room overlooking their horses. A short walk or quick drive into town where you will find many restaurants and smaller cafes. Please don’t hesitate to book. We cant wait to return.

What a gem. A little country estate just a 10 minute walk from du Clos Luce and 20 min walk to Chateau Royal. The owners Rob and Aude were wonderful. We walked into town each evening after visiting Chateaus in the surounding area and stolled home at dusk. We awoke each morning to the sound of cuckoo birds and a nice breakfast by the fire in the fireplace. Just delightful.

Best hostess ever!

The hostess/owner is fabulous! She went above and beyond to help make our stay in the Loire Valley run smoothly. She even drove us to and from the car rental agency! Breakfast is delightful, including home made jams, and the location is beautiful. I wish we'd had more time to stroll around the property. There is a small shared kitchen with plates/glassware, utensils and a fridge. Go to the Amboise market for picnic foods and dine al fresco on the property at one of the outdoor tables. Highly recommend!

Our experience exceeded all expectations from check in to check out. The hosts Aude and Rob, were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive to our needs, making us feel right at home. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast featuring freshly brewed coffee and pastries from a local boulangerie. An absolute highlight of our stay, while our 2 boys visited the lamas by the stables. The property itself is stunning, with beautifully manicured grounds and a serene atmosphere that made it easy to truly relax and unwind. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and would not hesitate to come back. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for calm and comfort in the heart of Amboise.

Room and property was spotless. Owner very kind and hospitable. Breakfast was fantastic, better then Paris. We enjoyed experiencing the country side of France. This was just the right location to walk a little after dinner. It was just far enough and close enough to downtown Ambroise. The property is wonderful. The Lamas and the cat were a special treat. I would highly recommend this B & B in the Amboise area.
