"We stayed at The Leela Mumbai from 26-29 May with Royal Club access and had an excellent experience.On arrival, we were warmly welcomed and escorted to the Club Lounge, where Gerald handled our check in. As this was our first visit to India since 2020, his friendly, professional and attentive approach immediately put us at ease. He also helped us with our request for interconnecting rooms, showing us the available options and allowing us to choose without any pressure. The outstanding hospitality extended throughout the hotel. Every staff member we encountered -from the porters and reception team to the restaurant staff, housekeeping colleagues, room attendants and cleaning staff-was warm, professional and genuinely committed to making our stay comfortable. Their attention to detail and proactive service made us feel truly valued. The Club Lounge team looked after us exceptionally well. Service was consistently attentive, and the selection of snacks and canapés was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented.Our only minor disappointment was that seasonal fruits such as mangoes, lychees and mangosteens were available only as chargeable items. Given that these fruits were in season and are so popular in India, we had hoped they might be offered complimentary in the lounge or available in guest rooms upon request. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and greatly appreciated the exceptional hospitality shown by Gerald and the entire team. Look forward to returning soon."
