"The hotel itself is older and looks like they are updating the outside. The room and breakfast area were clean and well maintained. The pool and pool area needs upgrading. It also needs to be cleaned more often. They (staff) are a little over the top regarding pool towels."

"The room, stairs and balcony needs cleaning and repairs. Needs to have more linens and items for bathroom easily available. The pool immediately in area had algae growing and was dirty."

"Parking was right outside the door and the room was very clean. There were a lot of kids probably because of Spring Hill suites being attached to the courtyard. Other than that, it was great!"

"Being an old schoolhouse definitely made it unique. The room was small but didn't feel like it. The view over the courtyard was peaceful and the live music in the evenings was nice way to end the day. If you want quiet before 9 pm then I would look elsewhere but we thought it made for a nice evening. "The African American girl at the front desk with long braids didn’t seem happy to be there . Had a little bit of an attitude when I checked in. However the girl who checked me out was much more pleasant . Bed was comfortable and pillowed were as well. Tv lost signal a few times . Had a goo night sleep with it being quiet . Ac seemed to struggle. Beach is right across from the though so it’s kinda worth of it ."

Upon arrival I was given just my checking card and it had two different room numbers written on the card when I asked which one was to clarify the hotel manager looked at me not at his head and pointed a direction I said okay so is this number and he just nodded his head and pointed again. The historic property was beautifully restored and clearly very well cared for by innkeeper Veronica and her team.
