The new room did not have a phone or clock. I was told they were stolen by previous guests. The blow dryer waa broken as well. The public restroom was missing a toilet...

"Unfortunately, our experience fell well below the standards I have come to expect as a Hilton Honors member. Upon entering our room, we immediately noticed a strong mold/mildew odor that persisted throughout the room. Additionally, we found pubic hairs in the bathtub, what appeared to be bodily fluid staining on the bedding, and bugs crawling on the floor. These conditions raised serious concerns regarding the cleanliness and sanitation of the room. We reported these issues to the front desk...

"The staff at check in was very friendly. The hotel itself is dated and worn. There is nothing in the rooms- just the bare very bare minimum. Not even tissues. It was fairly clean but there was definitely a stale smell in the room that I had to spray Lysol to reduce. There is a kitchen with a full fridge- no pots pans dishes. No coffee pot…Not a cup or anything. Then at 5 am the building fire alarm went off- smoked filled the building and we were evacuated while the fire department checked...

"Great spot for independent travelers who don't need a full service hotel, but still want a clean, kinda funky place to stay. Knowing access, even to the lobby, was available only to guests made me feel very safe. Great location with restaurants near by. We used the free GoCary bus service (stop near hotel) to go to Downtown Cary Park for a lovely stroll and music bingo. Only negative was bed was bit spongy for me, but clean and plenty of pillows.
