Staff was professional, accommodating and congenial. The Hisham Hotel is neat, clean and well-located. The restaurant on the 5th floor is excellent. I will be happy to stay at the Hisham the next time I'm in Amman.

A landmark since forever, its greatest advantage is the location. Within a 3-minute walk, you've hit 4 of the best 4 restaurants in town. Downtown is a short trip away, walking to the 3rd through 1st circles is a breeze. Hitting Abdoun? Forget Uber and Taxis--I walked it and it took me less than 20 minutes. And in the summer, the garden is a blessing.

They tried but didn't get there.

+ * clean * Staff friendly minded - * Far from every thing * The rooftop bar don't serve coffee or Tea. ONLY Alcoholic drinks. * breakfast come ready on a tray (if there are no enough) customers. * When the buffet is there, it take 45 minutes untill they put things, and that means most of the guests took the little offered on the table and left. * The TV in my room on 2nd floor didn't work the entire stay. * The safety Box was out of function. * No hair dryer. They provided me with one after I asked for it.

Meilleure expérience en soirée rooftop qu'en hôtel

Du bon et du moins bon. Hôtel assez excentré du centre-ville mais situé dans un quartier calme. Expérience exceptionnelle au niveau du rooftop. Pour le reste, rien d'exceptionnel. Il ne faut pas être pressé pour le petit déjeuner. Contrairement à ce qui est indiqué, il n'y a pas de parking privatif. Le personnel n'est pas toujours très aimable ...

Nice hotel in Amman

This is a nice hotel, the staff were great. There is a club in the bottom and a bit noisy on Thursday nights, lots of cigarette smoke in the air as well. Otherwise all good.

Good for what it is

This is not a luxury hotel, a 3 star rating is about right, but it is good for a hotel in that category. The (non-smoking) room was comfortable, clean and reasonably well-equipped. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Room service was good, quick and cheap. The air con was quiet and effective in keeping the room warm at a cold time of year. The drawbacks: not particularly great bathroom; noise from nightclub (though generally not that bad); very limited choice of English language channels on TV; occasionally unreliable and slow WiFi. I chose the hotel because I needed to be close to the Al Khalidi Hospital. If that had not been the case, I probably would not have chosen the area. It has some good restaurants but not much else to offer.

Good value for money and friendly staff

I only stayed one night. The staff is very helpful, professional and friendly. They gave a choice of two different rooms, which I appreciated. There are some very good (upmarket) restaurants in the area. The location is close to the 3rd circle, but in a quiet street away from traffic. I made use of the transfer service to the airport (30JD). Although they have a very busy restaurant attached to the hotel, the room I had was very quiet, with no noise disturbance.

Basic hotel but very noisy

Stayed here one night on a Monday in August, and the room was basic and a bit dirty, but okay for the price. Did not realise that the hotel was above a bar/night club. It was very noisy until about midnight. Staff were friendly enough. The breakfast was not amazing, as they were cleaning up from the night before, and there were no other guests around.

Praktisk og sentralt hotell med store rom

Hotellet er sentralt og det er enkelt aa finne taxi. Rommene er store og rene, og hotellet er generelt praktisk og komfortabelt. Verdt pengene.

Was very bad hotel.... They are not polite they asked for marriage proof ... I am very angry cause was tired after long trip....and I had to leave it

boutique hotel, a great find

What a gem! It deserves a higher rating. Location is excellent in safe neighborhood near embassies. Right off of the third ring, one can walk to rings one and two easily, as well as rainbow street. The rooms are lovely-- large rooms, comfortable beds, large bathrooms and showers. It is very clean. It feel like a boutique hotel and the staff are lovely.

It is not the first time that I stayed in the hotel; I found out that some services/facilities were less well than before, like breakfast and in the bathroom; having said that, I nevertheless enjoyed my stay.

We stayed there in Feb., 2014, low season. As we were travelling extensively in Jordin, it was a place to rest. While the carpets looked very worn, and there could be more TLC on the rooms, it was o.k. for what were doing. We did find the rooms a bit cool bordering uncomfortable, but that could be down to the time of year we stayed there. English T.V. very limited.

Week at the Hisham

Staying at the Hisham was absolutely marvelous. The front desk and restaurant staff were excellent and the location of the hotel couldn't be better. It's a small boutique style hotel and you get very personal service. The one challenge I did encounter was that some of the bar staff were rather unprofessional. But the hotel staff makes up for it by their outstanding service!

Not professionally run

They must only had a few rooms sold when we were there so they decided to keep all the hallway lights OFF everywhere even at the lobby and on our floor. Our rooms were ok for the price, we were not expecting much. But it was definitely not a 3-star quality. The front desk clerk did not charge us the exact room price as quoted (pennies off but still), when we asked he just lied. Later we found out that there is something with the visa card company not allowing 2nd decimal charges to be processed, but they should have been honest about explaining that (better, if they make sure to accurately quote the final price with tax.)
