"Absolutely loved my stay at Lava Suites! The location is excellent, and the hospitality is truly outstanding. Sofia and the entire team are incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. They genuinely make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Such a wonderful experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! 🤍✨"

"An absolute delight to stay in this unique property. We had an issue with the hot water tank and they were there immediately to help. Good people, accommodating and very conveniently close to the town square."

"Excellent accueil. La chambre était spacieuse avec vue sur la mer. La salle de bains est à rénover mais ce n était pas un problème pour notre séjour. A 10 mn à pied du centre de Fira, très bien situé."

"This is a beautiful property but as with most places in Santorini, it comes with lots of stairs to get to your room and most of the stairs are uneven and some quite steep. Not all sections have handrails. Luckily this property is right by the road, so taxis can drop you right outside the reception. I saw others dragging and carrying their suitcases up the steep, uneven stairs around Santorini to get to their hotels… We stayed in the Grand Mare Suite which was really nice with a heated plunge...

"First of all, when we arrived in Santorini, we searched for over one hour and a half to find this Cave property because there were NO signs anywhere displayed, while other properties had their signs on. The location of the property was way below ground level and so looking for it we had to basically go underground to all different types of steps looking for it. When my son finally found it and we entered, the scent of MOLD hit us together with a technician on the outside patio who was draining...

"Were told by host that we lucked out and had a room on the second level, but were led to a room that essentially was like a cave. But it was pretty cool, and we didn’t mind the style, except for what was suspiciously a mold-looking substance in the bathroom and shower. Also very difficult to find the place, as Google Maps is not accurate, and we were not given instructions on how to find the location until an hour before checking in. But, for two nights in a usually expensive place, we got a...

"The staff here is amazing. They are incredibly communicative and helpful. Beautiful room with private hot tub and roof top."

"Partendo dal presupposto che non mi aspettavo granché dato il prezzo trovo inammissibile che venga consegnata una stanza priva di finestre e con ogni superficie ricoperta di muffa. Dopo la nostra lamentela ci hanno cambiato location, la camera era migliore ma questa volta con un odore pungente di fogna, priva di servizi basici, ovvero cambio asciugamani e pulizie per tutta settimana. Abbiamo anche trovato delle blatte. SCONSIGLIATO!"

"When built in, perhaps, the 1990s these properties would have been quite innovative. Alas, they are in awful condition, offered by a host who takes bookings but refuses to communicate. I obtained a full redund. A modern air conditioning unit sits alongside a filthy bathroom ruined by water damage. A quite nice interior layout is spoiled by dirty linen, a dangerous hole in the wall where light fittings would have been, and no hot water. Soft fabrics near the "hot tub" were nauseating to look at....
