"Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful Rooms and Grounds, but Inconvenient Layout & Policies We recently stayed in a newly remodeled "Pool View/Partial Ocean View" room, which was excellent; the bed was very comfy, the room was spotless, and the shower had great water pressure. The landscaping throughout the resort is also immaculately kept. However, the current construction in the lobby made navigating the resort a major headache. To get to our 2nd-floor room, we had to go to the opposite wing, up to the 3rd floor, walk across, and then back down. The towel policy is also a letdown; you have to exchange a card at the lobby (which is in the opposite direction of the pool), making it feel redundant and poorly planned. Pros: Staff: Very friendly and personable, though our check-in agent spoke very fast and lacked a welcoming smile. Gift Shop: Huge selection! We also didn't realize there was a Starbucks in the back until our third day. Cleanliness: Rooms and grounds are 10/10. Cons: Pool/Jacuzzi: Several pool sections were blocked off without explanation, and the only Jacuzzi was out of order. Hours: Drinks closing at 6:00 PM at the Driftwood Bar is way too early, and there is no poolside wait staff. Fees: Expect to pay $29/night for self-parking (or $39 for valet) on top of a $35 daily resort fee. Communication: We wish the check-in staff had explained the concierge services (called on day two) or the QR code for resort info (found on day three)."

"The hotel location was great and the beach was beautiful. It's an old hotel that has been remodel a bit but it shows. There are two swimming pools but they resemble more motel swimming pools than Hilton swimming pools. There is a breakfast restaurant open from 6:00 to 10:00 am with a very limited breakfast menu. Again, not what you would expect from a Hilton property. The other place to eat is a beach shack. Luckily there are a few restaurants and coffee shops walking distance from the hotel. I am glad we stayed there because it was in a convenient location and the beach was great. Once we adjusted our expectations, we enjoyed our stay."

"Beautiful property!! Huge pool. Beach area is also convenient. Walkable to restaurants and shops. Cold air conditioning. Good shower. Outlets/usb on both sides of the bed. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Pros: The hotel is ideally located, offering easy access to both sides of the island and making it a great base for exploring. The stunning mountain views, continental breakfast, and the variety of friendly animals on the property add a special touch to the experience. We also appreciated the complimentary beach gear, which made our outings much more convenient. A special shout-out to the staff—especially Kylie and Elton—who were exceptionally kind and did their best to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Cons: While the overall experience was enjoyable, there were a few downsides. The bed sheets were not changed daily. The bathroom could use some improvement—we experienced issues with a difficult-to-use faucet, a rusty and unpleasant-smelling shower drain, and inconsistent water temperature that would suddenly shift from hot to cold during showers. Unfortunately, we also found a cockroach upon arrival and another one in the pool."

"The room we had was out by the main road, very noisy. It was upstairs so we had to haul our luggage up, we are retired and my husband isn’t in the best health. There was only a bamboo couch to sit on in the living room. One of the counter stools was broken. The bed is a queen but felt smaller. The dryer wouldn’t shut off on its own. We used the pool the first day and noticed it was in rough shape, they closed it as we were getting out and said it might reopen in 5 weeks."
