"The hotel is clean and convenient to local estsblishments. The rooms are spartan but clean. The hotel has a quaint and charming character. Have stayed there 3 times and it was fine. The AC in our room was noisy and they offered to change our room immediately. "

"We stayed here for 4 nights in March 2026. The location is absolutely fantastic - steps away from beautiful downtown Dunedin. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, modern and spacious. We’ve stayed in several places around Dunedin and this was definitely my favourite thus far. Keep up the great work!"

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel, will definitely go there again and recommend anyone. The housecleaning was great, the room was clean and replenished with towels and toiletries when needed. They provided us with the shuttle that fell within their 5 mile radius to my medical procedure which was super helpful especially since we were new to the area. "The hotel was very clean and I felt very safe in my room. They had free breakfast, but I didn't have time to eat. The hotel shuttle was on time for the airport. The lady at the front desk was very kind."

None of the ice machines were functioning when we stayed there which required us to walk all the way around the property to go to the front lobby to get ice. It’s looking a little worn around the edges. The stairwells and the balconies need attention."
