Love Anse Marcel hotel, the only thing we don't like was the hundreds of flies at the kitchen while breakfast. Maybe if they use screens for the kitchen it will be better. Other than that, everything was great! The beach and the service was perfect. Lobster was delicious!

Staff is wonderful. The buildings are still under reconstruction from the hurricane. Beach is safe wide clean uncrowded. Only negatives are the hill to drive into Anse Marcel& limited dining options other than the 2 resort restaurants(which are excellent) and the 2 next door at the Marina. We went to dinner at Gran Case many nights. Convenient to grocery shopping at the Super U nearby.

Very nice room with view, on a corner, comfortably furnished. Loved sitting on the patio for morning coffee for a few hours! Very comfortable bed, slept well with sleep masks. Some of digital readouts like temperature are bright. There are many amenities within walking distance. A map would be nice when first getting in to find your way around. All I all a very nice experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Great place for peace and comfort

The resort is located in a quiet part of the island and rooms are very nice. The rooms have kitchenettes which is great if you don't want to cook. Notably restaurant options are thin.It is an advantage to rent a car because there is no public transportation to the resort. My only complaints are that the resort is spread out and involves a lot of walking. Second, you need to remember to rent beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas in advance. In my opinion, resort guests should be guaranteed spots.

Beach was steps away and beautiful. Staff very friendly. Great dining options. Stayed in Room 709, it was dated and poorly designed. No chest or drawers to unpack your clothes into. Single straight backed chair and narrow wooden table. No couch or chairs to relax into. Faced the ocean but being on the first floor any view was blocked by shrubs. Again staff, dining options and beach were great, room itself suitable for sleeping and little else.

The Anse Marcel beach is a great quieter option in St. Martin. There is a nice beach bar restaurant with a very good on sight dinner option. The property itself is a bit "off the beach" with only a few of the buildings offering views of the water. There is a small walk to the beach. The room was nice and clean but getting appropriate items such as soap and tissue refills and proper glassware for the kitchen were minor inconveniences. The property felt like owned condos with a property management group facilitating the work of the guests. If party is what you want go to Grand Case or Orient Beach. Aside from the adventurous drive to Ansel, it is very easy access to Grand Case, Orient and Friar's for easy day trips and dinners. All in all I'd go back.

One of the best beaches on the island if you like clean water with calm waves and nice sand. Abundant fun amenities were not explained fully at check in. Although not all inclusive, you could spend most of the time at the resort for a low key and enjoyable vacation. Very good restaurant on the beach. Grounds need attention after hurricane damage. Careful and skillful driving required when going over the steep hill to enter and leave the resort.

The room had the most uncomfortable wooden chairs and the bed was hard as a rock. No Kleenex or paper towels or cream rinse was supplied. The kitchen did not have basic utensils to even heat up leftovers. The best part of the resort was the wonderful restaurant with spectacular views. The beach was beautiful and calm. I would not return.

On our first night, there was sand in between our bed sheets! That was the most disappointing part. It was utterly unacceptable considering the hefty price of our stay. A mere apology doesn’t cut it. The breakfast and lunch at the beach restaurant were worth it if you bypass the waitresses’ attitudes of grandiosity. The people attending the lounge chairs were very kind. The people attending the beach beds lacked customer service, especially the French blonde girl, she was unprofessional and lousy. Make sure you book a beach spot on a chair or bed in advance! Our sea view was not like in the picture posted, nor the beach bed. Everything else was good. On our second night our bed was actually clean - finally! It’s a shame to have had to complain about sand in out bed - yuck! Customer service is not their strong suit.

Beautiful, laid back with stunning sea views at one side and green mountain hills on the other. I resided few minutes walk away from the beach. Dinning is a healthy light french cuisine at the sea front restaurant with efficient and skilled waiting staff but it comes at the price. I spent 100 euros a day to eat there. And Don Perinion champagne at 540 euros per bottle. Anna the waitress is a petite ball of fire that I truly befriended.Facilities are at great standards and everyone was friendly. Almost everyone was French but most people spoke English which was a relief to me. I took an island tour for a day and to he rest of the week I spent chilling sunbathing and swimming. The sea was my biggest magnet and I spent 2 hours a day on intensive swimming. There were no fouls I can think off hence I give this location 10/10. Thank you for an amazing holiday time

Bed linens had leftover hair attached to sheets , mattress was two beds together and very hard . Was on third floor no hall lights to room . Beach was awesome, receptionist was nice, One bartender was nice one was not . We ate at the beach restaurant one time for lunch, Pricey but it was very good , waitress got our order and never returned. Guys who worked the beach , again one was ok the other was rude to my wife wanting help for beach chairs . Coming back to this island again but definitely not stay at this resort..
