This is a nice inexpensive option if you just need a place to crash. If you want to experience hotel amenities (bar, restaurant and pool) this may not be the the place for you. The hotel is owned by the same folks that own the Porta hotel which is really nice (and more high end) and it is just a block away. You can go there for breakfast and drink at the bar. Not sure if you can use the pool. The facilities have a charm to them but it is an old property that could use some improvements. My room was very small and there is no air conditioner. There is a fan that cool things down ok but it is noisy and takes up a lot of space. The bathroom was ok but the light above the mirror did not work. Overall this hotel is ok if you are budget conscious. The staff is friendly and it is in a good location (only a few blocks from the main plaza)

Los empleados tuvieron buena actitud y nos apoyaron cambiándonos de habitación. Sin embargo las camas eran incómodas y todo se escuchaba entre habitaciones. Dos personas hablando fuerte en la madrugada por más de una hora hicieron que la estancia fuera en lugar de relajante estresante, no me volvería a quedar ahí.

Tired hotel, hot rooms, nice service

There is no air conditioning, which I knew before we went, but I was assured the evenings there are very comfortable. However, the rooms are hot, no matter what and you can’t really leave your window open because of the lack of privacy that would result. So the room was really very uncomfortable to sleep in. Also, the rooms were very outdated and not in good repair The breakfast was pretty good and everybody we dealt with there was very friendly and helpful
