"If you are traveling in Humboldt county and enjoy a little casino action, this is a great place to stay. The casino is small but fun with good odds. Restaurant is good. Pool and hot tub and indoors. Very dog friendly place. Perfect as a home base for exploring Humboldt area. We will go again."

"I brought my grandchildren to stay the night. The pool and hot tub were both great. They even had a staff member to offer coloring for the kids and pool noodles. For the adults she was friendly and offered information on things to do around the area. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of food. ..."

"Rooms are nice although very small, bathroom is tiny beds are comfortable, tv didn’t work. This is a very old Victoriian hotel. It’s on the historic register and has an amazing past. Lots of celebrities and presidents have visited it. But it’s old and musty. The lobby is pure Victorian luxury, ..."
