"The reason for the terrible rating is - No meal at the Hotel so I ask the reception where I could eat, they pointed me in the direction of a local bar. Had something to eat there at 21:00hrs and by 23:00hrs I was having terrible stomach pains. (before eating at this bar I had had a continental breakfast before leaving the ship at Bilbao) By 02:00hrs diahorrea makes an appearance. "I have to start by saying that this place is a GEM. From the moment you walk in and you feel the five star treatment. The staff will greet you and they will speak your language, either Spanish or English. They are extremely helpful and they assist you planning any tours, event, research and everything to make it a five star treatment. The room is so clean, that you do not want to undo the bed. They clean the room once or twice daily and they leave your random notes and the weather for the next...

"No proper parking and no luggage assistance — we had to carry heavy bags up about 15 steps. It felt more like an Airbnb than a hotel, with only one staff member at check-in. The room on the left has a nice view and is clean, but the strong artificial fragrance made it hard to sleep. No breakfast service, and it’s difficult to find a proper morning meal nearby. Not suitable for elderly guests or anyone who has difficulty with stairs or heavy luggage."
