"I've stayed at the Hotel Guanacaste for 15 years - the only times i have not is when they haven't had a room available- it's my preferred local. It's not a fancy place, but it suits my needs. It is very close to the bus stations and dining choices

"The staff at the hotel are amazing! Great breakfast is included. The rooms are very basic with two queen beds with sheets for bedding. The AC worked great. The shower does not have hot water but the bathroom was clean and had fresh towels every day. The location is absolutely gorgeous and it’s perfect for walking around town. "

"The staff is great! It was a wonderful stay close to so many places; coffee, caña and chocolate tour; sloth tour. Town is very close and close to so many authentic restaurants. Just bring your own shampoos. "
