"Firstly fantastic staff. Nothing too much trouble. Lovely well stocked bar area. Fabulous breakfast. Very clean. Free parking to the rear of the property. Central location. We stayed as we were attending a wedding so didn’t really explore much but what we saw was very nice. Bedrooms were basic but this was obviously reflected in the price. "This place wasn’t what we hoped for so we didn’t stay. The room was not as big as it seemed on photos, no room to put our suitcases out. Room was dated and doors opened out onto parking lot. Very dark, no lights outside and muddy from a water main break. To make matters worse, a policeman knocked on door to say there had been an armed robbery nearby and offender was seen nearby. Very scary and unnerving. We decided we couldn’t stay and found another hotel. Swan House were not willing to refund....

"A good location for exploring the area with easy parking. The room was OK for a night, but I would describe it as tired (e.g. carpet looking in need of a good clean or replacement, bed/mattress seen better days, and much dust inside the desk lamp). I cannot comment on the inclusive breakfast because it didn't start until 8 am and we needed to be away by 7:30."

"Upon arrival just after 4pm, I was given Room 24 which was on the ground floor, directly adjacent to the dining area without soundproofing but an open doorway. Also in the adjacent rooms were numerous foreign (migrant?) families with children running up and down the short corridor, and plenty of door knocking and chatting loudly in the corridor. I complained to the reception staff (man instead of the young lady who checked me in), he apologised and moved me to another room on 2nd floor, plus...
