"To begin, I booked this hotel because of its proximity to downtown - not for the amenities. That said, Zebra Unicorn is branded as a boutique luxury hotel - a role in which it fails abysmally. Let's be clear regarding parameters: Luxury to me means being free of all concern. Loved that there was a handheld steamer in my room. I was going to wet my pants and blow dry them but the steamer was way better. My hand soap dispenser could have had mor soap in it and my room key was only activated for one night so in a hundred degree heat I had to go the office and get my stay extended. "I showed up about 15 minutes before check in and my room wasn’t ready which was fine. They said the would text me when it was and I didnt hear anything from them. I checked back in over an hour later and I they said they were working on assigning rooms and I finally got checked in. The first room I checked into didn’t have a latch for the lock above the card lock. "Good location. Quieter than most hotels in area, at least in my experience 👌. Comfortable beds"

"It didn’t include breakfast as advertised, not even a bottle of water in the room. It is a little bit old, the area is not too safe, a lot of hom3less people around. It was not super clean, it was an 8/10. Wifi was working well, The staff at the entrance was a really kind lady. In general, It was ok, for the price we paid."
