Uitzichten vanaf de berg naast het hotel maakten het mooie van het eiland Sommarøy goed zichtbaar. Aanrader bij het hotel is om de sauna in te gaan en dan in de ijskoude zee te duiken. Een andere aanrader, als je in het voorjaar in de buurt bent, om de husky puppy training te doen bij Villmarkssenter. "The hotel was clean and comfortable. The view from our window was very scenic. Parking was available at no cost. Dinners were tasty but I didn't particularly like the breakfasts. The breads and the scrambled eggs were not very good. However my husband thought the breakfast was fine. Despite my comments about breakfast, I would nevertheless recommend this hotel."
