"This was our 2nd stay at this property. Sadly a whole host of "niggles" from the moment we arrived. Very warm welcome and support from staff throughout, but overall not the standard you should expect for this price point. We had to change rooms due to being given incorrect (accessible) room - we had paid for the one bedroom apartment and whilst technically this could be classed as such, it was not fit for purpose. Shower was set only at waist height, radiator broken in bathroom, poor layout of lighting. We were moved the next day. Unfortunately the shower in this room was also broken and required a call to reception to fix. Due to "works", the water was routinely off each morning! There was no notification of this so you could be halfway through ablutions to find the water simply stopped. No cleaning at all during our 5 night stay. This would be ok if cleaning equipment were provided in the flat! It's essential to have a dustpan and brush as minimum, given that it is set up as self catering! The whole flat (and corridors) needs a good deep clean - superficial cleaning seems to take place but the skirtings, floor and especially the balcony area needs thorough cleaning. We found cigarette ends and a champagne cork on our balcony, along with the general build up of grime. We also had to chase up batteries for the remote control and a spare light bulb. These things should be routinely checked. Staff were always responsive when we raised these issues but we shouldn't need to. "
